Using Engagement at Trade Shows

In the dynamic and often unpredictable environment of trade shows, having your content readily accessible and presentable is crucial. Here are some tips and tricks to ensure that your Engagement content is not only available but also primed for impactful presentations to successfully engage your audience in any situation.

Leverage Multiple Devices

Using multiple devices to accomplish different goals allows you to engage attendees in different ways. A video can catch the eye of a passerby without you blinking an eye while you're mid-demo with another prospect. Example: Use a laptop for hands on demos or to display looped video while your presenting other content on an iPad.

Be Prepared

We know you've already worked hard on creating engaging content for trade show attendees, so we encourage you to follow these tips to make sure that content is leveraged to its fullest potential - in any situation.

Content Preparation

We recommend going through all the content you want available to you at the trade show the night before to ensure everything you need is ready for presenting. If you have a certain workspace that has all the content related to the upcoming show, give each piece of content a final check!

Availability

We recommend ensuring each piece of content you'll want access to has been downloaded/made available offline...just in case.  We've all experienced the shaky or overwhelmed wi-fi that slows down or completely blocks access to necessary materials, so having this safety net placed in advance allows you to present without skipping a beat. Think of it like you've got a flight coming up and you download a movie from a streaming platform in advance so you can watch it while you're in the air!

App: If you're using the app, you should be prompted to elect to "Download all Content" or "Choose What I Download"; we recommend choosing what you download so you can download only the applicable content and not overwhelm your device. For each piece of content you want offline access to, click the three dot menu and toggle "Available Offline" on.

Desktop: If you're using the desktop version, click the three dot menu and select "Download" to ensure the content is downloaded to your device and available offline.

🚨 If using multiple devices, make sure to download content to each device for offline availability. 🚨
