Finding Local Logs from the Device for the Desktop Apps

Issue: Sometimes we need the logs from the device itself for a ticket.

Product: macOS and Windows app

Issue Description

Here we detail how to find the logs from the device when Engineering needs more than the logs submitted from the app itself. 

Issue Solution

macOS location

  • /Users/computername/Library/Application Support/mediaflyviewer/app/logs

 

Windows app

  • Generic Mediafly App: %APPDATA%\MediaflyViewer\App\Logs
  • Branded App: %APPDATA%\MediaflyViewer_companycode\App\Logs
