The Energy Score represents the level of engagement with a customer/prospect based on activities like meetings, emails, share views, etc. Tracking the level of activity, or energy, your org is putting into earning business gives you a constant state of awareness of how involved your team is and where more energy is needed to win.
The Energy Score of a record is the high-level indicator of its current activity level (or the last day of the selected time period) so you know whether further inspection into the Activity by Day is necessary to discover how the score can be improved.
You can also view an energy score breakdown, or engagement metrics, for individual records that itemizes levels of engagement into incoming energy (which we call Account, Contact, Lead or Buyer Interest based on the record type) & outgoing energy (which we call Seller Hustle) scores. You can also see if/how much those scores have recently increased or decreased.
You can find energy scores in the Activity by Day section of a report and in the summary page of individual records, which you can find by clicking directly on the record name. To view the engagement metrics, simply click on the energy score.

Understanding Your Energy Score
The Energy Score is a calculated percentage of the activity level for a certain opportunity, account, etc. calculated each day, but these daily calculations include consideration of previous activity. This means the current score or score of the last day of the selected period is not only considering that day's activities but its activity AND the activity level as it is changing over time. So if there has been no activity today, you would not have a 0% score, rather, today's score would simply take today's activity level in comparison to past activity and adjust up or down accordingly.
A 100% Energy Score indicates a perfectly healthy opportunity, while 0% would indicate no activity has occurred at all, and all levels in between.
Weighted Importance
Intelligence Admins can manage the weight each individual activity carries in the calculation to ensure your Energy Score reflects an accurate level of engagement based on what's important to you. All out of the box activities have a default level of importance, you can see the list and learn more about Managing Energy Score here.
Current Energy Score
The percentage shown to the right of Activity by Day will either show your current Energy score or the Energy Score on the last day of the selected period.
Energy Score Over Time
You can see the ebb and flow of your energy score over the selected time period in the trend line in the background of Activity by Day. The trend line fill color will reflect today's score, so if today's score is 95%, the trend line fill will be green, we'll cover more on the color scale later.
