What is StoryGuide?

StoryGuide is a guided presentation-building experience powered by Mediafly’s Value technology.

It uses rules and guided logic to help sellers select the most relevant slides from an approved master deck. The result is a tailored presentation that is consistent with your organization’s messaging and ready to use in a customer conversation.

StoryGuide can also be configured to use customer or market data from sources such as CRM or business intelligence systems, where that setup is part of your implementation.

How does StoryGuide work?

The seller answers a few guided questions.
StoryGuide applies configured logic for your organization and surfaces the slides that best match the seller’s answers.
- Depending on how StoryGuide is configured, the presentation can include customer-specific information or data from connected systems.
The seller selects the required slides.
The seller can access the finished presentation in Mediafly, where they can create a sharelink version, like with any other asset, or download it.

Is StoryGuide an AI tool?

StoryGuide’s current presentation-building experience uses rules and mappings configured for your organization. It does not dynamically read slide content and decide what to include on its own. In the near future, StoryGuide will be accessible by AI, allowing sellers to create governed slide decks through modern conversational experiences.

Can StoryGuide use external data?

Yes. A custom StoryGuide setup can incorporate data from sources such as Power BI or other business systems. Data connections and requirements are scoped for each implementation.

Where does the finished presentation go?

Generated presentations are delivered to the seller’s ‘My Items’ folder in Mediafly Engagement for easy sharing via sharelink. The presentation may also be downloadable from Mediafly, depending on your system settings.

Can sellers change the presentation?

StoryGuide is a tool which allows sellers to create the presentation they need. It can be configured to allow sellers to include or exclude available slides, while keeping required content in place. The exact options depend on your organization’s setup.
