Allow end-users to download files from collections

Can we clarify; is it the document itself you're unable to open?
Or options sat within the steps shown in the document that you're not able to see, such as the 3 dots on a folder thumbnail tile or the download collection option when you have a collection open that you're wanting to download?

Hi Angela,

When we share documents vía collection, I don't find an option to enable the customer to download the files. I see an option to send to myself a link to download but not to the customers. Of course, I could then send the link to myself and then forward it to the customers but it's a double work.

Thank you for clarifying Florencia,

The reason that the 3 file items in your t3st Collection are not downlodable when you create a share is because you have first enable the files to "Allow Users to download this item" at the file level first.

Take a look at the screenshot below and see the checkbox you need to enable in order to allow the files to be downloadable.

Enabling this check box for each of the 3 files will ensure they can be downloaded from a share link created.
